Welcome to Live Oak Public Library
Live Oak Public Library is a system of 14 library locations serving a 2-county region in southeast Georgia. Our mission is to inspire the community to Grow, Create, Discover and Explore.
In the year ending June 30, 2025, the Library hosted more than 650,000 visitors, checked out nearly a million items, answered almost 200,000 questions, registered more than 1.2 million computer sessions, and presented programs to about 80,000 patrons in Chatham and Liberty Counties. We also maintain three StoryWalk(R) installations in public parks.
